About Me

Over the last two decades, I have helped 200+ people of different ages and skill levels learn to play the guitar.

Several of these students now have a solid foundation for the fundamentals of guitar technique. They can play 10+ songs from memory, improvise over different chord changes, and play rhythm guitar using a variety of chord voicings and strumming patterns.

I graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers University in 2006 where I completed a Bachelor of Music Performance degree. Teachers I studied with are, Vic Juris, Stanley Cowell, Conrad Herwig, Ralph Bowen, and Joe Negri.

My approach to teaching draws from all the lessons I learned from these musicians as well as my experience as a performer and educator.

In 2022, I decided to focus my energies on teaching online. I saw the value in providing educational content through social media. I now upload free content regularly on YouTube and Instagram to help people learn to play guitar.
